The 4 Best DFS Plays For Week 8:
Credit Football Analysis

NFL Week 8 is here and there are several interesting matches this week. One could argue the Cowboys and 49ers seasons are on the line as each team only has 3 wins. Sure their seasons won’t “technically” be over if they lose in week 8 – but for the sake of the long term outlook for these teams – specifically the 49ers – this is a must win game. We also have a few interesting division games like the Colts and Texans, and the first game between the Chiefs and Raiders since the Christmas Day game last year in which the Raiders stunned Kansas City and beat them at Arrowhead stadium. This is going to be a very fun week of football and in today’s video – we are going to dive into the 4 best DFS plays for week 8. I hope you enjoy!

Anthony Richardson lower than 186.5 passing yards is the first play. Anthony has thrown for more than 187 yards in just two games in 2024 and they were against the Texans in week one and the Packers in week two. Meaning it’s been over a month since AR has hit this mark, and the Texans defense is much improved since the last time these teams played. Even within that game – he completed nine passes for over 200 yards and that’s kind of been the story of Anthony Richardson in 2024. He either makes big plays and hits the home run, or strikes out. It’s been very frustrating for Colts fans to see and he completed just 41.6% of his passes in week 7. He started the game just 5/18 and I think the Texans secondary is one of the best in football. With all of this being said – I would be very surprised if he throws for more than 187 passing yards in this game. Anthony Richardson lower than 186.5 passing yards is the first play

Stefon Diggs higher than 62.5 receiving yards is the next play and this is a play I like for a few reasons. The Colts defense is 29th in total yards allowed and they are 23rd in passing yards allowed. CJ Stroud had a rare bad game in week seven and I think he’s going to get back on track against Indy in week eight. The Texans are also without receiver Nico Collins and it’s Stefon’s time to shine. Stefon only had 23 yards in week seven, but went for at least 69 yards in each of the previous four games. Stefon has at least 7 targets in each of his last 5 games and  without Nico Collins –  I think Stefan goes for higher than 62.5 receiving yards.

Packers wide receiver Jayden Reid has had six targets in four of the last five games. He has also went for at least 75 yards in three of the five games he’s played with Jordan love in 2024. After having a combined 38 receiving yards in the last two games – I think Jayden is in for a big week 8. The Jaguars passing defense is bad and it doesn’t help that they’re down a couple of players in the secondary, but they’re dead last in passing yards allowed this year. When your number one receiver hasn’t been fed as of late AND you’re playing the worst passing defense in football – and his yards line is set at 54.5 yards – I will take this every time. The play is simple. Jayden Reed higher than 54.5 receiving yards. I wouldn’t be opposed to an alt line of higher than 59.5 or even higher than 69.5 yards. Jayden is in for a big day.

The Washington Commanders have had a really good start to the 2024 season offensively. And just because they’re 5-2 doesn’t mean they’re perfect by any means. Their defense is not the best and I have a lot of concerns with this team from a defensive perspective – especially with star defensive tackle Jonathan Allen out for the year. The 4th play is Caleb Williams higher than 229.5 passing yards. Washington has allowed this in 3 of their last 5 games and Caleb Williams is starting to heat up. Caleb has thrown for 300 yards in two of his last 4 games and he should have a big day against the Commanders. This is a number 1 vs number 2 overall pick game and I have no doubts the Bears will want to throw the ball in this game to show how good Caleb is. I like Caleb Williams higher than 229.5 passing yards
