It’s time for the main event! The Week 11 Sunday slate looks just as good as ever, as we’re getting some of the best rivalries in football along with some must win games. Let’s take a deeper look into some of these players, and find out what will be the best plays for this week!
Caleb Williams – Under 199.5 Passing Yards
Caleb, and the Bears offense in general, has been struggling these past couple of weeks. In his three games since the bye week, he hasn’t cleared a passer rating of over 70 or a completion percentage of over 54%. This does not bode well for the Bears’ chances against the Packers this week, as these three games were against the Commanders, Cardinals, and Patriots, teams with much weaker secondaries than our friends up in Green Bay. The Packers are 15th in passing yards allowed, and 5th in interceptions. Their M.O. when playing the Bears is to control the time of possession, and if they can stay dominant against the passing game and force some turnovers, I don’t really see how Caleb will even have the time to throw for 200 passing yards. Not to mention that Caleb has only cleared this line in four out of nine games, and three out of four of those were against bottom 10 defenses.
Caleb holds the ball far too long, and you simply cannot do that against a defense like the Packers’. I think Caleb Williams under 199.5 is the play for this rivalry matchup.
Cedric Tillman – Over 54.5 Receiving Yards
Tillman has been a dog since Jameis Winston took the reigns in Cleveland. In his last three games, he’s had 12, 9, and 11 targets respectively, clearing this line each time. Two of these games were losses, meaning that Cedric is going to be a piece of the offense no matter what. The Browns are playing the Saints, who are 29th in passing yards allowed, allowing a massive 2446 yards through the air in 10 games. Even with the generally inconsistent QB play of Jameis Winston, I think the gameplan is going to be to simply sling the rock. Cedric is emerging to be one of the favorite targets in Cleveland, so this line should be a safe bet.
Against this weak New Orleans secondary, expect Cedric to clear 54.5 receiving yards. This is another huge play for Thursday.
Justin Herbert – Over 199.5 Passing Yards
We all know how good Justin Herbert is. He’s one of those quarterbacks that you can always count on, no matter the team around him, or the heartbreaking losses that befall him. This week, he’ll be playing the Bengals, who are 23rd in the league in both passes attempted against and passing yards allowed. They’ve allowed over 200 passing yards in six of their ten games played; the games they didn’t allow over 200 passing yards were against shaky quarterback teams like the week one Patriots, the Raiders in week nine, and the Giants in week six. Justin Herbert is no Daniel Jones (putting them in the same sentence almost made me feel dirty) and certainly he’ll be ready to carve up this legendarily weak Bengals defense.
Justin Herbert over 199.5 passing yards is the play for this week’s matchup between the Bengals and the Chargers.
Chris Boswell – Over 1.5 Field Goals Made
The Steelers play classic football. Look amazing on defense, get the ball back, make a sluggish drive down the field, kick a field goal, rinse and repeat. Through nine games, Boswell has cleared this line in six of them. The one game where he missed a field goal, he still cleared this line. Against the division rival Ravens, I don’t think it’ll be too difficult for the Steelers to do what they do best and get Chris Boswell within the massive range of 57 yards for two field goals.
I expect Chris Boswell to kick (and of course make) two field goals this Sunday. Over 1.5 FGM is the play.
