Coming off the tumultuous 2024 season, the Indianapolis Colts, and every individual player, has a lot to prove. At a bit of a crossroads, the Colts have the pieces to be a successful team, but where will they fall? Let’s take a look at the entire schedule for the Indianapolis Colts.
Weeks 1-3

Week 1 vs. Miami Dolphins – Home – 1:00 p.m.
The first game of the year is the home opener at Lucas Oil against the Miami Dolphins. While the Colts beat Miami last year, they were still reeling from losing Tua in primetime, and couldn’t connect with Tyreek Hill no matter how hard they tried. However, with a fully healthy team, the Dolphins may be able to come away with a victory against the Colts. The Colts aren’t particularly strong in their week one outings, and with Daniel Jones getting the starting nod, I’m giving the Colts the L.
Week 2 vs. Denver Broncos – Home – 4:05 p.m.
The Colts also faced the Denver Broncos last year, whose defense ripped them to shreds. With the Broncos finding their footing last year with Bo Nix, I will have to give the Broncos the victory, and thus give the Colts their second consecutive L to start the year with.
Week 3 @ Tennessee Titans – Away – 1:00 p.m.
The Titans are starting a brand new chapter with QB Cam Ward, and with not a strong supporting cast around him, I don’t foresee the Titans having too strong of a showing even at home. The Colts should be able to offensively outpace the Titans as they typically have within the past few years, and come away with their first W of the season.
Weeks 4-6

Week 4 @ Los Angeles Rams – Away – 4:05 p.m.
The Los Angeles Rams are going to have a bounce back season after their strong finish from an injury ridden first half. The Rams offense is tough, and their defense is underrated. If the Colts want to win this game, they’ll need to capitalize on a Rams D-Line that has a lot of young guys and really pound down the middle. As it stands, I’m giving the Rams the victory this week, and the Colts another L.
Week 5 vs. Las Vegas Raiders – Home – 1:00 p.m.
The Las Vegas Raiders are another team in a strange transitional period, and thus have a roster lacking star power. This game, if everything goes well for the Colts, should be a battle of the tight-ends in which the Colts come out victorious for their second W.
Week 6 vs. Arizona Cardinals – Home – 1:00 p.m.
The Colts and Cardinals are two teams that I think have very similar ceilings and floors. That being said, I think the Colts have the stronger defense, which will prove to be the deciding factor in this game. If they can contain Kyler Murray, James Conner, and MHJ, the Colts should walk into their second consecutive W at home, and their third on the season.
Weeks 7-9

Week 7 @ Los Angeles Chargers – Away – 4:05 p.m.
At this point in the season, if the Colts want a chance of any post-season aspirations, this is going to be a must-win. Another team I think is very similar in roster skill to the Colts, the Chargers, if the Colts offense can play up to their potential, will get outpaced. I’m giving the Colts this critical W.
Week 8 vs. Tennessee Titans – Home – 4:25 p.m.
The second divisional game this year for the Colts is game two against the Titans. Similarly to last game, and since this is a home game, I’m going to give the Colts the W and sweep the Titans, four wins in a row.
Week 9 @ Pittsburgh Steelers- Away – 1:00 p.m.
Unfortunately, I think the Colts’ win streak come to an end against Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh defense is too strong, and even with (assumedly) below average QB play, I think the Steelers will be able to secure a home W, and give the Colts their fourth L of the season.
Weeks 10-12

Week 10 @ Atlanta Falcons – Away – 9:30 a.m. – International Game (Berlin)
In what is a cool opportunity for the Colts, yet likely a slow game, the Berlin game will likely be close. As with every international game, this will probably be a low-scoring affair, where two teams will probably struggle to get the offense going. I’m going to give the edge to the Colts here, I think generally they have the stronger roster. The Colts will go into the bye with a W.
Week 11 BYE WEEK
Week 12 @ Kansas City Chiefs – Away – 1:00 p.m.
The Colts typically play the Chiefs closer than expected, however, this year I don’t see much luck. This game starts off a rough stretch of games that I think will end in an L for the Colts.
Weeks 13-15

Week 13 vs. Houston Texans – Home – 1:00 p.m.
To continue the gauntlet ahead of them, the Colts play their first game against the Texans. The Texans will continue to have a strong team, and I think they’ll give the Colts an L at home.
Week 14 @ Jacksonville Jaguars – Away – 1:00 p.m.
Whenever the Colts go into Jacksonville, no matter what year, they struggle. Will this year continue the trend? I’m going to be optimistic and say this year the Colts get the W in Jacksonville.
Week 15 @ Seattle Seahawks – Away – 4:25 p.m.
The Seahawks will prove to be a tough NFC opponent, and especially away. If this were a home game, I’d give the edge to the Colts. However, as it stands, I think the Seahawks have the upper hand. The Colts will take an L in this must win game.
Weeks 16-18

Week 16 vs. San Francisco 49ers – Home – 8:25 p.m. – Monday Night Football
In their only primetime game this year, the Colts will take on the 49ers. At this point in the year, I think the Colts need to win this game in order to keep their playoffs hopes alive, as in my prediction they’ll sit at 7-7. Will they be able to? I think this year they will. The Colts have beat the 49ers in their last four meetings, and I think they’ll do it again, getting a crucial W.
Week 17 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars – Home – 1:00 p.m.
If we were optimistic for the last meeting between these two, I think I’m pessimistic for this one. I suspect the Colts split the series with the Jaguars and walk out of this one with an L.
Week 18 @ Houston Texans – Away – TBD
Finally, in a game that will determine whether the Colts go over or under .500, I think they’ll fall just short as they did last year and come away with another loss. The Texans are strong, and they’ll likely be fighting for seeding at this point, playing at their peak. The Colts will end their season with an L and a 8-9 record.
