Entering Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season, division races intensify with season-defining head-to-head matchups at the top of three divisions. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens collide for the AFC North lead in a must-win clash. Meanwhile, after the Jacksonville Jaguars caught the Indianapolis Colts last week, the two now face off for urgent control of the AFC South. Similarly, the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers battle for the division crown, with the NFC North title hanging in the balance. Additionally, the Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, and Kansas City Chiefs all face do-or-die scenarios as they fight to preserve their playoff standing.

#32 Tennessee Titans

For the second season in a row, the Tennessee Titans are most likely the worst team in the NFL. On the other hand, that means that they are the leader in the race for the #1 draft pick for the 2026 NFL Draft. The Titans’ focus needs to be on evaluating their talent for the rest of the season and on improving quarterback Cam Ward so he can have a big year in 2026. This week, the Titans face the Cleveland Browns on the road, so while they will have a chance to get a second win of the season, they will need to perform well against one of the NFL’s best defensive units.

#31 Las Vegas Raiders

Mandatory Credit: Kiyoshi Mio-Imagn Images

The Las Vegas Raiders offense is heading into Week 14 needing to regain their footing after several tough weeks. During that time the Raiders have struggled to protect quarterback Geno Smith and they have failed to get their running game going. This is a bad time for the Raiders offense to go into a game against a Broncos defense that is one of the best in the NFL. While the Raiders continue to try and win games it is looking like they are realistically posturing for a position near the top of the 2026 NFL Draft.

#30 New Orleans Saints

Mandatory Credit: Sam Navarro-Imagn Images

For the last few weeks, the New Orleans Saints showed some signs of progress on the offensive side of the ball. Last week, the Saints’ running game took a big hit with running back Alvin Kamara being out due to a knee injury. If the Saints can get their running back on track, they could have a chance to play a spoiler role in the NFC South when they go on the road to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

#29 New York Giants

Mandatory Credit: David Butler II-Imagn Images

The New York Giants get a rare week to recover after their bruising showdown with the physical New England Patriots. Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart showed resilience, leaving Foxboro on his feet despite enduring unnecessary hits. As the team regroups, sharpening the offensive lineup and hunting for ways to close the season with a bang should top their agenda. On defense, healing goes deeper than bruises, with tension escalating between interim head coach Mike Kafka and 1st-round pick Abdul Carter.

#28 Cleveland Browns

Mandatory Credit: Scott Galvin-Imagn Images

The Cleveland Browns have made the decision to give quarterback Shedeur Sanders an extended time to demonstrate his ability to lead the Browns’ offense. While Sanders has done a good job of managing the offense, the Browns could still be exploring other options. Cleveland has announced that it is opening Deshaun Watson’s 21-day practice window to return to the field. However, this week the offense will feature Sanders as the Browns face a struggling Tennessee Titans team at home.

#27 New York Jets

Mandatory Credit: Vincent Carchietta-Imagn Images

The New York Jets battled for a gutsy home victory over the Atlanta Falcons last week. This week, the Jets must ramp up their offensive firepower as they clash with a Miami Dolphins team playing with confidence. To seize a win, the Jets need to set the pace with an aggressive ground attack, while quarterback Tyrod Taylor must deliver smart, decisive passes. The surging Dolphins are formidable, but the Jets have a prime shot to snatch a thrilling win in Miami.

#26 Washington Commanders

Mandatory Credit: Geoff Burke-Imagn Images

The Washington Commanders came up one pass completion short of upsetting the Broncos and snapping their own lengthy losing streak. That streak is now seven straight losses for the Commanders. This week, the Commanders have another chance to earn a win, facing a Vikings team that has been just as disappointing as they have. For Washington to win in Minnesota, they will need to play a sound game and not sabotage their efforts with penalties and turnovers.

#25 Minnesota Vikings

Mandatory Credit: Kevin Ng-Imagn Images

The 2025 Minnesota Vikings appeared to have hit rock bottom last week. First-time starting quarterback Max Brosmer had a disastrous performance against the Seattle Seahawks. Brosmer threw four interceptions against the Seahawks’ defense, including one that was returned for a defensive touchdown. This week, the Vikings need to make sure they put their best players on the field and work to play an efficient game. Minnesota has a chance to pick up a win against the Commanders, but they will need to avoid self-defeating mistakes.

#24 Arizona Cardinals

Mandatory Credit: Nathan Ray Seebeck-Imagn Images

The Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Jacoby Brissett have lit up the stat sheet on offense in the last four games. However, those gaudy offensive stats have not translated into points or wins. This week, the Cardinals face the Rams, who will likely be trying to prove a point after getting upset last week. For the Cardinals to beat the Rams, they will need to prioritize ball security and get some takeaways, creating scoring opportunities on short fields.

#23 Atlanta Falcons

Mandatory Credit: Robert Deutsch-Imagn Images

The Atlanta Falcons’ offense and Kirk Cousins squandered two opportunities in the last two minutes of their game against the Jets to take a late lead and pick up a win. Defensively, the Falcons have shown flashes of greatness, but their ability to win games has been negated by their struggles on offense. This week, the Falcons will need to get their running game going early and protect the ball against a hungry Seattle Seahawks team.

#22 Cincinnati Bengals

Mandatory Credit: Mitch Stringer-Imagn Images

If the Cincinnati Bengals are going to have a chance to make the playoffs this season, they will need to win the rest of their games. Last week, Joe Burrow returned to the Bengals offense and helped Cincinnati pick up a huge win against the Baltimore Ravens. This week, the Bengals will go on the road to face a Buffalo Bills team that is fighting to get back into the race for the top spot in the AFC East. Burrow will need to have a great game once again, and the Bengals’ defense will need to force the Bills to turn the ball over.

#21 Miami Dolphins

. Mandatory Credit: Rich Storry-Imagn Images

The Miami Dolphins head to New York this week to face the Jets in a division game. Miami is currently riding a three-game win streak, and if the Dolphins want to hold onto any hopes of working their way back into the playoffs, they must win this game. It will be important for Miami to get its passing offense going early, and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa needs to make plays while avoiding turnovers.

#20 Pittsburgh Steelers

Mandatory Credit: Charles LeClaire-Imagn Images

Several weeks ago the Pittsburgh Steelers looked like the most likely team to with the AFC North. Since then Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been affected by a lack of pass protection and an injury to his wrist on his non-throwing hand. Last week, the Steelers fell apart offensively after allowing the Buffalo Bills to score a defensive touchdown. This week, the Steelers will need to fight for control over the AFC North against a Baltimore Ravens team that was surging until they were upset by the Cincinnati Bengals last week.

#19 Baltimore Ravens

Mandatory Credit: Mitch Stringer-Imagn Images

Last week, the Baltimore Ravens had five turnovers in a primetime game against the Cincinnati Bengals. That loss to Cincinnati ended a Ravens’ winning streak that had allowed them to climb to the top of the division. If the Ravens can get their offense back on track, they will have a chance to officially overtake the Steelers in the standings after trailing Pittsburgh all season. However, if the Ravens continue to turn the ball over like they did last week, they could find themselves falling down the standings.

#18 Carolina Panthers

Mandatory Credit: Brett Davis-Imagn Images

The Carolina Panthers are getting to coast during their bye week after picking up an impressive win against the Los Angeles Rams. Recently, the Panthers’ defense has excelled at forcing turnovers. However, the Panthers’ offense has been inconsistent at turning the defense’s forced turnovers into points. Carolina is sitting right behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC South standings, and they will need to get healthy this week to finish strong over the last few weeks of the regular season.

#17 Kansas City Chiefs

Mandatory Credit: Kevin Jairaj-Imagn Images

The Kansas City Chiefs are desperately battling for a playoff spot after three straight Super Bowl appearances. Now at 6-6 and trailing the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos in the AFC West, Kansas City must start winning immediately to keep its postseason hopes alive. This week’s matchup against the Houston Texans is a must-win, and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes faces immense pressure to deliver against a Texans defense ranked among the best in the NFL.

#16 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

. Mandatory Credit: Nathan Ray Seebeck-Imagn Images

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers need a win this week so that they can maintain their slim lead over the Carolina Panthers at the top of the NFC South division. All indications are that the Buccaneers will finally be healthy once again, just in time to make a run to clinch their fifth straight division championship. If Tampa Bay and quarterback Baker Mayfield take care of the ball, they will give themselves a great chance to extend their lead over the Panthers in the standings. However, if they play sloppily against the Saints, they could find themselves in a tight battle for the division and a playoff spot.

#15 Dallas Cowboys

. Mandatory Credit: Kevin Jairaj-Imagn Images

Over the last two weeks, the Dallas Cowboys have picked up huge wins against the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. While the Cowboys’ offense has been the strength of this Dallas team, the defensive improvements they made at the trade deadline have paid off. This Thursday night, the Cowboys will face a Detroit Lions team that is desperate for a win. For the Cowboys, the playoffs start this week, and if they win, they may find themselves in a position to start regaining control of the NFC East.

#14 Houston Texans

Last week, the Houston Texans overcame a huge hurdle in their relentless quest to reclaim the AFC South. While this week can’t take them all the way to the top spot, a thrilling road win over the Kansas City Chiefs would vault Houston into a dramatic tie for second place with the loser of the Jacksonville vs. Indianapolis clash. For Houston, this is a high-stakes, must-win battle, one that demands gritty, hard-fought drives and a disciplined offensive performance by the Texans.

#13 Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs runs for a first down against Green Bay Packers safety Xavier McKinney (29) during the second half at Ford Field in Detroit on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024.

The Detroit Lions have struggled with inconsistency this season. Their weekly mistakes have allowed the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers to pass them in the division standings. While the Packers and Bears battle for first in the NFC North, the Lions face a surging Dallas Cowboys team. This is a must-win for the Lions; otherwise, they will find themselves in a slump despite boasting one of the NFL’s top running back duos in David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs.

#12 Philadelphia Eagles

Mandatory Credit: Bill Streicher-Imagn Images

The Philadelphia Eagles find themselves in an unfamiliar position this week as they try to break a two-game winning streak. Over the last two weeks, the Eagles blew a 21-point lead against the Dallas Cowboys and were physically beaten by the Chicago Bears. Philadelphia remains at the top of the NFC East, but the Dallas Cowboys are surging to the top. This week, the Eagles will need to get themselves back on track against another physical team when they face the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football.

#11 Los Angeles Chargers

Mandatory Credit: Kiyoshi Mio-Imagn Images

Despite a wave of injuries, the Los Angeles Chargers have clung tenaciously to a strong position in the AFC standings. With running back Omarion Hampton surging back into practice, it appears the Chargers are on the verge of enduring a grueling stretch of their schedule. Yet this week, they collide with a Philadelphia Eagles squad hungry to reaffirm their championship pedigree. Expect a gritty showdown featuring two high-powered offensive machines and defensive units more than capable of stifling opposing attacks.

#10 Jacksonville Jaguars

Mandatory Credit: Steve Roberts-Imagn Images

Despite the Jacksonville Jaguars’ bad habit of turning the ball over multiple times a game, the Jaguars are in a position to play for first place in the division. This week, it will be important for Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence to avoid making big mistakes like he has the last few weeks. However, even with the turnovers, the Jaguars have continued to win games consistently. This week, the Jaguars need to approach their game against the Indianapolis Colts as if it were a playoff game.

#9 Indianapolis Colts

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (28) rushes the ball up the sideline Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, during a game against the Houston Texans at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Just a few weeks ago, the Indianapolis Colts were the favorites to win the AFC South division. The Colts’ ability to run the ball with Jonathan Taylor and to run an efficient passing game with quarterback Daniel Jones made them look like an elite team. However, when the Colts struggled with turnovers against the Pittsburgh Steelers, cracks began to form in their foundation. Those cracks are now more apparent after the Colts lost back-to-back games and fell out of the division lead. This week, the Colts need to get back to their balanced offensive attack if they intend to defeat the Jaguars and hold onto the top spot in the division.

#8 Buffalo Bills

Mandatory Credit: Barry Reeger-Imagn Images

The Buffalo Bills picked up a critical win on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. That win was the result of a dominant run game and a Bills pass rush that created a game-changing fumble returned for a defensive touchdown. This week, the Bills host a Cincinnati Bengals team that received a boost last week with the return of quarterback Joe Burrow. Fortunately, Buffalo matches up well against the Bengals, but they will need to pressure Burrow and force Cincinnati to turn the ball over. This is a must-win game for Buffalo if they want to have a chance to catch the surging New England Patriots at the top of the AFC East.

#7 Green Bay Packers

Mandatory Credit: David Reginek-Imagn Images

This week is a golden opportunity for the Green Bay Packers to regain control of the NFC North. Last week, the Packers picked up a big division win against the Lions, and now they face a Bears team that appears to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender. To get a win this week, the Packers offense will need to avoid turning the ball over against an aggressive Bears defense. In addition, Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons needs to have a big week against a solid Chicago offensive line.

#6 San Francisco 49ers

Mandatory Credit: Ken Blaze-Imagn Images

After a treacherous start to the 2025 season, the San Francisco 49ers have reached the safe haven of their bye week with an impressive 9-4 record. Each week, the 49ers have had to overcome a long list of injuries to many of their top playmakers. Despite those injuries, the 49ers keep finding ways to win. This week, the 49ers need to focus on getting as healthy as possible so they can make a final push to clinch a playoff spot.

#5 Seattle Seahawks

Mandatory Credit: Kevin Ng-Imagn Images

Last week, the Seattle Seahawks finally had a chance to get their offense back on track, dominating the Minnesota Vikings. Over the last few weeks, Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold has started to regress back to his failures at the end of the 2024 season. Darnold has a bad reputation for getting sloppy with the ball in big games and under pressure. So far this season, the Seahawks have been a better team on the road than at home. Seattle will need to exorcise some of their offensive demons against an Atlanta Falcons defense that will bring pressure from all angles.

#4 Los Angeles Rams

Mandatory Credit: Scott Kinser-Imagn Images

Last week, the Los Angeles Rams started the week as the hottest team in the NFL. The secret to the Rams’ success was quarterback Matthew Stafford’s outstanding play. Before the Rams went to Carolina, Stafford had thrown 30 touchdown passes and only 2 interceptions. However, last week the Panthers attacked the Rams quarterback and forced two interceptions. The Panthers also had a strip-sack against Stafford to seal the fate of the Rams, snapping their six-game win streak. This week, the Rams will face another dangerous team on the road against the Arizona Cardinals.

#3 Chicago Bears

Mandatory Credit: Eric Hartline-Imagn Images

Last week, the Chicago Bears showed they may be ready to contend in the NFC, driven by a stronger offensive line and two determined running backs. Kyle Monangai and D’Andre Swift powered the Bears’ offense, helping them dominate the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, the Bears must handle both a skilled Packers team and the challenge of being favored to win the NFC North.

#2 New England Patriots

Mandatory Credit: David Butler II-Imagn Images

Sliding into their bye week with the best record in the NFL and a 10-game win streak, the New England Patriots look strong. Although they beat the Buffalo Bills, much of their success can be attributed to a relatively weak schedule. With several tough games left in the season, the Patriots must prepare to maintain their momentum. They have improved dramatically this season, but correcting key weaknesses now is necessary to become true championship contenders.

#1 Denver Broncos

Mandatory Credit: Geoff Burke-Imagn Images

In Week 13, the Denver Broncos continued their winning streak by outlasting the Commanders in an overtime thriller, thanks to a crucial defensive stand by Nik Bonitto. With momentum on their side, the Broncos now turn their focus to maintaining intensity as they face the struggling Raiders in Las Vegas. This week presents Bo Nix and the Broncos offense with an ideal opportunity to fuel another victory.
