Wideouts wideouts wideouts. Perhaps the NFL’s flashiest position saw some newcomers in its receiving yardage leaderboards. Rookies like Tetairoa McMillan and Emeka Ebguka burst onto the scene and cemented themselves as true threats. Simultaneously, we had other young players step up big time for their squads, with some of them being the soul heartbeat for their respective offenses. Additionally, we saw some older guys prove themselves still worthy of being deemed a danger, like Davante Adams who scored a staggering 15 TDs. Today, we’ll list and rank those receivers, and see who’s good enough to be deemed a top ten threat beyond yardage totals.
10: Stefon Diggs

After an underwhelming end in Buffalo combined with a torn ACL in Houston put Diggs’ career in jeopardy, he inked a deal with New England that many touted as being an overpay. He gleefully quieted the crowd, and put up numbers similar to that of his prime form. Mirroring the success he found when joining Josh Allen, Diggs provided a reliable target for Drake Maye, and was a major contributor in his new QBs ascent. His catch percentage of 83.33 was the best among receivers with at least 250 routes run. Additionally, In spite of ending up 65th among his peers in ADOT, he still managed to put up the 15th highest passing yards.
9: Drake London

While Bijan Robinson decimated teams in the ground game, London soared in the pass-attack. Injuries sidelined him for five games, hampering his end-of-season totals. Still, 919 yards in just 12 games is nothing to scoff at. Furthermore, he still ended up with the fifth highest target share among all receivers in the league. His importance to Atlanta’s attack is undeniable, hopefully Kevin Stefanski can now help take his play even further.
8: Nico Collins

As an offense that felt riddled with ineptitude, it’s hard to imagine how much worse the attack in Houston would be without Nico Collins. He ranked 7th in Red Zone targets, 10th in first-read targets, and 12th in deep targets, with all of those numbers leading the team. A further display of his value with the Texans is that he hauled in those targets despite them being inaccurate throws. Throughout the year, Collins continuously made some great grabs on errant passes, as his catchable target percentage was 84th in the NFL.
7: George Pickens

The expectations for Pickens were that he’d provide the Cowboys a high-tier number two option at receiver to be paired with Ceedee Lamb. What Dallas did not see coming was Pickens blooming into an alpha receiver in his own right. The former Steeler finished 2025 with 1400+ yards and 9 touchdowns. He was especially effective against man coverage, ranking the best against man and putting him ahead of the runner-up by 118 yards. He’s now set to be the Cowboys’ newest headache, as the price he’ll demand is sure to make their already second-highest offensive cap allocation tremble in fear.
6: Ceedee Lamb

Lamb got hurt and missed three games on the year. Combine that with how well Pickens played, his 1077 yards through the air largely flew under the radar. Nevertheless, there’s no doubt about it, Ceedee Lamb is still a force to be reckoned with. He had six games with more than a hundred yards, and was Dallas’ strongest deep threat. With George Pickens now set to suit up with the Cowboys for next year, he’ll be able to play without being the sole star in the receiving core for at least one more season.
5: Amon-Ra St. Brown

Though the Lions offense as a whole took a step back with the brain drain of losing Ben Johnson, Amon-Ra St. Brown didn’t miss a beat. He still put up 1401 receiving yards and saw the bulk of the team’s passes come his way even with Jameson Williams on the roster. He was dominant from the slot, and his physical play allowed him to put up 920 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns over the middle of the field.
4: Ja’Marr Chase

Another season marked another year where Ja’Marr Chase’s offensive efforts went to waste. With the team missing Joe Burrow for a long stretch of the year, Chase had a lot more on his plate. The offense ran through him, as he ranked first in targets and routes-run. He was up to the challenge, and hauled in the second most receptions and finished his year fourth in receiving yards.
3: Justin Jefferson

Yes, Justin Jefferson had his worst statistical season in terms of yards, touchdowns, first downs etc. Nevertheless, it’s paramount to point to his quarterback situation. Jefferson caught balls from JJ McCarthy, Max Brosmer and Carson Wentz, players who you wouldn’t classify as world beaters. Those three gifted Jefferson with a combined catchable target percentage of just 67.4, putting him 63rd in the sport. And yet, he still put up a thousand yard campaign, with 451 of those yards being of his own doing after the catch. If McCarthy develops or if Minnesota finds a more stable presence at QB, Jefferson will skyrocket among rankings once more.
2: Puka Nacua

From the depths of the fifth round to coming just short of an offensive player of the year nod, Puka Nacua continues to soar. He ended his year ranking first in yards after catch, yards per-route-run (among receivers with at least 100 routes run) and second in total yards. His big physical frame combined with his speed and catch radius constantly put him on the highlight reel. Additionally, following his dominant season, he currently sits at number one in NFL history for career yards per-game. Though there’s no guarantee he’ll remain at that spot, it goes to show what a force he is.
1: Jaxson Smith-Njigba

JSN, or ECRA if that’s what you prefer, stacked another breakout campaign on top of his elite 2024 season. While he did put up 1100+ yards in 2024, most discussion surrounding the top wideouts in the league ignored Smith-Njigba’s impact. Well, he made sure no one would forget his name this time around. Not only did he notch an OPOTY trophy along with his Super Bowl Ring, he certified himself as the best receiver in the game. A whopping 1793 receiving yards coupled with 10 touchdowns despite his team ranking 30th in pass play percentage was enough to turn heads. Now, he sets his eyes on a record-breaking extension, one that Seattle will grant him with joy.
