NFL Week 7 opens up with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Denver Broncos and the New Orleans Saints. The Broncos are listed as 2.5 point road favorites while the total sits at 36.5 points.
Both teams are coming off of a loss, while New Orleans is coming off of four straight losses. Denver lost in week 6 to the Chargers with a score of 23-16, while New Orleans lost to the Buccaneers with a score of 51-27. New Orleans is down their top two receivers in Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed and that’s notable because that will play into the strategy of our plays for this game.
Javonte Williams lower than 47.5 rushing yards is the first play. The Saints are going to do everything they can to force a rookie quarterback to beat them, and I think they’re going to load the box and make Javonte‘s night particularly tough. He is only averaging 3.6 yards per carry on the season and only has more than 25 rushing yards in two out of the first six games.
Spencer Rattler lower than 184.5 passing yards is the next play and I like this for a couple of reasons. He is without his top two receivers in Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed and Denver has allowed the fifth fewest passing yards in all of 2024. Spencer is also in his second career start, and on a short week – I will take the lower on passing yards every time.
Bo Nix has thrown for at least 200 yards in four of the first six games and he’s led the team in rushing three times. Because of this, I like Bo Nix higher than 218.5 passing + rushing yards. I don’t think it’s going to be an offensive of explosion in New Orleans in week seve, but I do think Bo Nix can get the job done. I also like Courtland Sutton’s receiving yards play of 47.5 yards. Denver will move the ball throughout the game, and I like Bo Nix higher than 218.5 passing + rushing yards
I don’t think there’s going to be many touchdowns scored in this game and I don’t think there’s going to be many points scored. Because of this, points are going to be at a premium. I think Will Lutz will kick a couple of field goals and because of this, I like Will Lutz higher than 7.5 kicking points.
We went 3/3 with picks on Monday night with Josh Allen higher than 203.5 passing yards, Breece Hall higher than 59.5 rushing yards, and Allen Lazard 34.5 receiving yards and if you want to follow along tonight – here is the link:
