It’s that time of year, Superbowl Sunday. We’ve got all the data we need this season, we’ve seen the most explosive plays, we’ve seen the superstars in action, now it comes down to this. Let’s look at the four best plays for this Sunday.
DeVonta Smith – Over 50.5 Receiving Yards
DeVonta Smith is a great target to look for in the Superbowl. A guy who’s caught 100% of passes he’s been targeted on, Smith is a reliable target to look for in the biggest game of the year. He’s cleared this line in 10 games this season, and four of his last six games. The Chiefs are 18th in passing yards allowed this year, and I think they’ll continue to give up some decent chunks to guys like DeVonta Smith.
DeVonta Smith over 50.5 receiving yards is the first play for Superbowl Sunday.
Patrick Mahomes – Over 1.5 Passing TDs
Mahomes magic will be on full display this week, and we’ll see the 11th best passing TDs in the game go against the 6th ranked defense in passing TDs allowed. Mahomes has cleared this line eight times this year, and he hasn’t had a game without one passing touchdown since week six. The Eagles’ secondary is tough, but to bet against Mahomes in the Superbowl would be a big mistake.
Mahomes over 1.5 passing TDs is the next play for this Sunday.
Saquon Barkley – Over 19.1 Fantasy Points
Do I even need to talk about Saquon Barkley? It’s almost to a point where we’re discussing whether or not he’ll go for 200 yards this game. It’s going to be great to watch this superstar do what he does best. The Chiefs are 8th in rushing yards allowed, and Saquon is the top rusher in the game. He’s cleared this line in nine games this season, some of these games he doubled the line. I think on the biggest stage, Saquon is going to want to impress us.
Saquon Barkley over 19.1 fantasy points is the next play for the big game.
Travis Kelce – Over 49.5 Receiving Yards
It’s the biggest game of the year, do you think the Swifties will really let him go without getting some yards? Jokes aside, Kelce is one of the guys you’re definitely looking to throw the ball to in the Superbowl, not even just for records’ sake. He’s got a 73% catch rate in the playoffs this year and 136 yards on 9 catches, with 117 of those yards coming from just one game. I think Kelce will certainly be wanting the ball, and Mahomes will be looking for a reliable target – a match made in heaven.
Travis Kelce Over 49.5 receiving yards is the last play for the Superbowl.
