As the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks prepare to face off for the third time this season, the Seahawks are currently the favorite to win the NFC Championship game. The prediction that the Seahawks will win is based on Seattle’s 3-0 record when hosting the NFC Championship game. In addition, while the Rams had to fight hard to win an overtime game against the Chicago Bears, the Seahawks’ offense and defense steamrolled the San Francisco 49ers.
While it would be easy to coronate the Seahawks as NFC Champions, not everyone agrees, including the official Madden 26 simulator. The official Madden 26 simulation has predicted the Rams will upset the Seahawks.
During the Madden 26 NFC Championship simulation, the Seattle Seahawks jumped to a 24-3 lead over the Rams, fueled by Kenneth Walker III’s three rushing touchdowns. The Rams struggled with rain and Seattle’s 12th Man noise.
After three quarters, the Rams’ passing game with Matthew Stafford stalled, suggesting defeat. Yet Stafford threw two touchdown passes to Puka Nacua. A failed two-point conversion after the second score left the Rams trailing by eight late in the fourth.
A Dramatic Comeback and Overtime Finish
With a minute left, the Rams’ defense stopped Seattle, and Stafford fired a 60-yard bomb to Davante Adams, forcing overtime. In OT, the Rams scored first with a 4-yard pass to Xavier Smith. Sam Darnold’s drive ended at the Rams’ 28 on fourth-and-six, incomplete to Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
The Madden 26 AI simulation is not necessarily an accurate predictor of real-game outcomes. However, it is important to note that Super Bowl LVI was a victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. If the game is as exciting as this year’s simulation, NFL fans are about to be treated to an all-time great NFC Championship game.
