The big boys up front rarely get enough love. They anchor any NFL offense, and no one else can succeed without them. Some interesting O-Line prospects went in the first round of this year’s draft. Some veterans moved around in free agency, and some great lines stayed together from last season. In this article, we’ll rank the top 10 best offensive lines in the league after the conclusion of the 2025 Draft.
#10. Washington Commanders

The Commies made a big splash with the acquisition of Laremy Tunsil from the Texans in the offseason. It makes sense that they want to go all in on protecting their star QB Jayden Daniels. Tunsil will be a cornerstone tackle for them for a few more years. They also spent their first-round pick on OT Josh Conerly Jr. from Ohio St, one of the top tackle prospects. Conerly shows great potential, including great reps against Abdul Carter, whom he will now face twice a year. Adding two great tackles to a line that already includes a great center in Tyler Biadasz, and hopefully, guard Sam Cosmi will return to health in 2025. The Commanders should have a great line to protect Jayden in what could be a breakout season for this group.
#9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Everyone knows Tristan Wirfs is one of, if not the best, left tackles in the league. The Bucs also recently added Cody Mauch to their line, and Graham Barton could break out in a big way in his second year. Not to mention Luke Goedeke, one of the most under-discussed great tackles in the league. This line will continue to protect Baker and help Bucky Irving have a great sophomore campaign.
#8. Dallas Cowboys

The Great Wall of Tyler has added a new member, first-round guard Tyler Booker. Obviously it’s not easy (or even possible) to replace Zack Martin, Booker has a lot of potential. Meanwhile fellow Tylers Smith and Guyton are both promising young players. Tyler Smith seems to be a stalwart guard, and the Cowboys have a great track record drafting this position. With some coaching, they could shape this group into another great young Cowboys line to protect Dak for the rest of his career.
#7. Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens hung on to Ronnie Stanley in free agency, and their line will continue to be great around him. Tyler Linderbaum is a Pro Bowl center two years running and anchors the line. Daniel Faalele and Ben Cleveland are two good young guards, and will continue to get better. Blocking for Derrick Henry makes your job a bit easier, and this group will be one to watch in 2025.
#6. Chicago Bears

The Bears had a huge offseason with the hiring of Ben Johnson, and they beefed up their O-Line in a huge way. Not only did they trade for Joe Thuney, one of the best linemen in the entire league, but they also added center Drew Dalman from the Falcons. They even signed Jonah Jackson from the Rams, a player with whom Ben Johnson is familiar from their time together on the Lions. Ben Johnson knows the importance of a great line, and this Bears group could become an amazing one if they mesh well.
#5. Denver Broncos

Bo Nix had a breakout rookie year in no small part due to this excellent group. Garrett Bolles and Mike McGlinchey are excellent tackles, both ranked top 10 in PBWR. Quinn Meinerz is an absolute mauler of a guard, and Ben Powers clearly has some nominative determinism going on. This group will be a big reason the Broncos continue to flourish, and Bo Nix could hardly ask for better guys in front of him.
#4. Minnesota Vikings

Another team that was active in free agency, the Vikings sniped guard Will Fries AND center Ryan Kelly from the Colts. They should have some built-in chemistry and hugely upgrade the interior of the line. Franchise left tackle Christian Darrisaw is alsoreturning this year. They also drafted talented guard Donovan Jackson, a big and athletic player who should flourish in this group. These norsemen will be one of the best groups in the league without a doubt.
#3. Los Angeles Chargers

We all know Jim Harbaugh’s DNA, and we know that a great offensive line is key to the Chargers’ success. They also have two cornerstone tackles in Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt, a key element to a great line. They added Mekhi Becton from the champion Eagles in the offseason, and he should upgrade their interior (at the very least, in size). Opposite Bradley Bozeman, Becton should have a lot of success. If I were Omarion Hampton, I’d be very excited to line up behind these big boys.
#2. Philadelphia Eagles

No surprise that these champs are near the top of our list. Jordon Mailata and Lane Johnson are probably the best tackle duo in the league. Obviously they lost the aforementioned Becton in the offseason, but if anyone can replace him, it’d be Jeff Stoutland. Cam Jurgens has also shone as a Jason Kelce replacement, which is a big pair of shoes to fill. As they mount their title defense, these big men will continue to be the vanguard of the fight.
#1. Detroit Lions

This should be no surprise to anyone. Dan Campbell’s identity is all about toughness and grit, and perhaps no group exemplifies it more than the O-Line. Penei Sewell is one of the best linemen and athletes in the league, and this group is deep around him. Dan Skipper of trick play fame, stalwart center Frank Ragnow, and excellent left tackle Taylor Decker. We watch these guys maul people and impose their will every week, and we will as long as Dan Campbell is the head coach.
