Its officially the time of year to start looking to your dynasty fantasy league’s draft. With so many interesting rookies to look through, let’s take a look at a full mock draft for this point in the summer.
#1 RB Ashton Jeanty – Las Vegas Raiders

Ashton Jeanty being the consensus number one pick shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. This should be an absolute hit considering everything; his situation, his skill, his last years’ statistics, the Raiders’ playstyle. The Raiders are setting up Ashton Jeanty for a great season.
In terms of dynasty, he’s going to be the best pickup for you. The value for running backs is always inherently higher than WRs in dynasty leagues, so picking up Jeanty is a no brainer.
#2 WR Tetairoa McMillan – Carolina Panthers

Tet McMillan is the easy pick for the best wide receiver in the rookie class. The reasoning is simple, his situation.
With Bryce Young emerging last season, and the wide receiver room for the Panthers being one of the weakest in the league, Tet will enter a situation that will make him succeed immediately.
#3 WR Travis Hunter – Jacksonville Jaguars

Travis Hunter is a close second for the best wide receiver available, and I think he makes perfect sense for being the third selection in your dynasty draft. Once again, the situation for him is one that makes me very comfortable in taking him this high. His ceiling is also very high especially compared to other wide receivers.
Travis Hunter is also simply one of the most exciting athletes in the draft period, so while I don’t think he’s in the same tier as the first two, this is the easy option for the third pick.
#4 RB Omarion Hampton – LA Chargers

Omarion Hampton is a safe bet for RB2 in this year’s rookie class. The reason is once again the situation he’s finding himself in. The Chargers are a team lead by the run first head coach, and his competition is Najee Harris, a running back who’s had some rough seasons.
Even if Hampton doesn’t get the starting nod, the Chargers aren’t afraid to give the RB2 ten to fifteen carries a game. This is a really safe choice.
#5 TE Tyler Warren – Indianapolis Colts

Tyler Warren is the first tight end we’re taking in the draft, and I think he’s the best bet for TE1 in this draft class. While it is generally close for me between him and Loveland, I think the Colts offense will allow for more opportunities for Warren to get the rock.
I think he’ll be used more as a blocker than Colston Loveland though, which may lead to some disappointing weeks, but I think Warren should be your first pick for a tight end in this draft.
#6 RB TreVeyon Henderson – NE Patriots

TreVeyon Henderson is an impressive athlete with great production that has only had one major problem in his college career, injury. His great production in his freshman year was put to a halt in his sophomore year due to injury, and he never really got back to his full potential showcased in his freshman year.
That being said, Henderson is going to New England, a location where he’ll certainly have a chance to take the spotlight. I think he’d be a great pick, and an even greater stash.
#7 TE Colston Loveland – Chicago Bears

The second tight end I’d take would be Coleston Loveland, and I think that the ladder half of the first round makes a lot of sense for him. He’s has a great ability to stretch the field, which I think will give him opportunities for big points every now and then.
The only problem is that he’ll have to compete for touches with the other TE Cole Kmet. This is the main reason I’d give Tyler Warren the TE1 spot over Colston Loveland.
#8 RB Quinshon Judkins – Cleveland Browns

With Nick Chubb’s likelihood of staying with the Browns diminishing by the day, and Jerome Ford being a serviceable yet unpredictable presence, Judkins may get more time than one would expect from a rookie. He’s floating around the RB4 mark in every ranking I see, which I think is fair, but I feel like he’d be a great late-first to early-second pickup in a dynasty league. He’s got a great burst, and is more likely to stretch the field than you’d expect for someone with his size.
Judkins is an impressive athlete that I think won’t be immediately be on everyone’s radar, and I think he can find himself getting in on sweeps and other stretch plays. Would be great to stash.
#9 WR Emeka Egbuka – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Our last wide receiver in the first round is Emeka Egbuka. Egbuka ranks so highly for me due to his ability to get on the field and make an impact immediately, which is what I think he’ll do on the Buccaneers.
The Buccaneers could use a slot receiver, which I think Egbuka bests at. He’s very fast, he’s got great change of direction, and he’d be a great pick in the draft.
#10 RB RJ Harvey – Denver Broncos

Absolutely fantastic situation he’s in, and if you’re drafting early enough in the summer, this guy might slide under the radar into the early-to -late-second for your league, which would be fantastic value. The biggest thing boosting him up is his competition, only having to beat out Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime for the starting role, a completely do-able task. The only issue I’d see long-term is his age, 24 for a second round pick isn’t exactly the youngest, however, with a RB in dynasty, you’re going to want to take what you can get. I’m a huge fan of his athleticism as well, with an impressive 134 yards per game in a pretty tough Big 12 in the 2024 season.
RJ Harvey is the perfect slide candidate in a top-heavy draft that you’re going to want to take a closer look at.
