Week 16 of the NFL season is here and we have a great week of football ahead. There are a lot of great games this week, including several divisional games that have playoff implications on the line. The best part of the NFL season is just getting started, and in today’s article – we will be breaking down every game from week 16. I hope you enjoy!

Los Angeles At Seattle

The Seahawks narrowly beat the Colts in week 15 in the game, where they did not score a touchdown. There’s conversations to be had of whether that was a look ahead game or if they simply dismissed the idea of Philip Rivers being able to play a complete game at 44 years old against their defense. Meanwhile, the Rams put up 41 points against the Lions and looks like an absolute juggernaut at times offensively. However, it is Has to be noted that receiver Davante Adams is expected to miss this game because of a hamstring injury. The Rams beat the Seahawks earlier in the year and a game where Sam Darnold threw four interceptions. There is a reality where this is the NFC championship game preview and the NFC West is very much on the line with this game. And at this point in the year – especially with how Matt Stafford has played over the past month – I trust him to make less mistakes than Sam Darnold. Rams 27, Seahawks 24

Philadelphia At Washington

The Eagles beat the Raiders 31 to nothing in week 15 and looked like a much better team than we’ve seen over the past few weeks. The commanders beat the Giants 29 to 21 and while a win was good for them after losing 8 games in a row, I don’t think they’re going to beat the Eagles with a back up quarterback. It was announced earlier this week that Jayden Daniels will miss the rest of the season and the Eagles magic number to get the postseason is one. The Eagles are a better football team and with blood in the water give me the birds. Eagles 27, Commanders 20

Green Bay At Chicago

The Packers season looks a whole lot different after the Micah Parsons injury and I have a lot of questions with where this team is. However, that does not mean they’re going to roll over and that their season is automatically over. And there is a very real possibility that Jordan Love has the postseason of a lifetime, as we’ve seen him make big throw after big throw when it matters before. But with this game being in Chicago and with how much the Bears love to run the football, I am going to take Chicago to win in a close one. Bears 20, Packers 17

New York At New Orleans

The New York Jets are a bad football team while the Saints have shown significant signs of improvement over the past couple of weeks. Tyler Shough looks to be the Saints quarterback in 2026 and I simply do not trust the Jets secondary enough to be able to slow this offense down over the course of a fourth-quarter game. There’s also a lot of question marks around the Jets quarterback position and if we’re being honest, there’s a lot of question mark marks around the Jets entire team and I think the Saints are better football team at this point in the year. Saints 27, Jets 13

Kansas City At Tennessee

I don’t think anybody would’ve believed you if you would’ve said the Chiefs would be eliminated from the postseason entering this game before the season started. But here we are and we have Gardner Minshew facing off against Cam Ward as Patrick Mahomes, unfortunately tore his ACL in week 15. The Chiefs have a lot of holes on the roster and there’s a reason they’re 6-8 to begin with, but the Titans are a very bad team all around outside of a few players. I have very little confidence making the selection, but I hope for the future of the Tennessee Titans that they lose this game and have a high pick in the 2026 draft. You could tell me either team wins this game and I believe you, but ultimately we are going with the Chiefs. Chiefs 24, Titans 20

Cincinnati and Miami

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (9) walks for the locker room after the fourth quarter of the NFL Week 15 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025. The Bengals were shut out, 24-0.

The Bengals were shut out 24 to 0 last week against the Ravens in a game where they looked pretty lifeless at times offensively. Meanwhile, the Dolphins were beat by double digits on primetime against the Steelers and tug. Was Ben prior to week 16. Both teams have been eliminated from the postseason, but I don’t think this should be a surprising take stance that I think a Joe Burrow lead team will beat a Quinn Ewers led team and that’s why we’re going with the Bengals to win. I hope to see some more like from the Bengals offense in week 16 than we saw in week 15 and that’s an understatement. Cincinnati 27, Miami 17.

Buffalo At Cleveland

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen runs with the ball looking to throw to a receiver during second half action at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park on Dec. 7, 2025.

The Bills beat the Patriots in week 15 in a come from behind win as they were down 21 to nothing in the first half. Meanwhile, the Browns lost on the road with the score of 31-3. The Bills are going to the playoffs while the Browns are probably going to finish with the top five pick and this game means a lot more for Buffalo as they are still very much alive in the AFC East race. I hope to see some sort of progression from Shedeur Sanders, but there’s a reason Buffalo is double digit favorites entering this game. Bills 27, Browns 17

Minnesota at New York

Dec 14, 2025; Arlington, Texas, USA; Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy (9) leaves the field after a game against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Raymond Carlin III-Imagn Images

The Vikings looked really good offensively in week 15 and it was the best game of JJ McCarthy‘s career. I am surprised the spread for this game is only three points, the Vikings are a much better team than the Giants. The Giants have a lot of questions at receiver, and the Vikings defense has been pretty good throughout the 2025 season. There is a strong possibility JJ McCarthy builds on what we’ve seen over the past two weeks as he gets more to the NFL and that’s why I like the Vikings in this game. Minnesota 31, New York 20

Tampa At Carolina

Dec 14, 2025; New Orleans, Louisiana, USA; Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young (9) throws the football during the second quarter against the New Orleans Saints at Caesars Superdome. Mandatory Credit: Stephen Lew-Imagn Images

Simply put entering this week 16 game between the Bucs and Panthers I do not trust either team. Every time expectations are increased for the Panthers – they seemingly almost always fail and last week was a prime example of that as they lost to the Saints in week 15. Now on the other side of this, the Buccaneers have went from 5-1 to 7-7 and all signs are pointing to head coach Todd Bowles being fired at seasons end. The deciding factor for this game is looking at the rosters and I think Tampa roster is more talented than the Panthers, and I also have a lot of questions around Dave Canales and Bryce Young. Because of that I’m going with Tampa to win this game. Buccaneers 23, Panthers 17

Los Angeles At Dallas

Dec 14, 2025; Arlington, Texas, USA; Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (4) looks to throw during the first half against the Minnesota Vikings at AT&T Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Kevin Jairaj-Imagn Images

This may surprise some people, especially after the Vikings beat the Cowboys 34 to 26 on Sunday night in week 15 – but Dallas is favored entering this game. I think Jessie Minter will be a great head coach in 2026 for somebody, and I think he’ll do enough to be able to slow down the Cowboys offense, especially with the Chargers postseason hopes on the line. With Philadelphia playing on Saturday night, there is a very real possibility that Dallas will be eliminated from the postseason at the time this game begins. I understand the Chargers tackles are out and have been for quite some time and that there’s legitimate concern with LA offensive line but I think they get the job done in a tough road environment and come out with a win. Chargers 24, Cowboys 20

Atlanta At Arizona

Dec 11, 2025; Tampa, Florida, USA; Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins (18) throws a pass against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the fourth quarter at Raymond James Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Nathan Ray Seebeck-Imagn Images

Kirk Cousins vs Jacoby Brissett is a game nobody would’ve expected heading into the 2025 season- but here we are. The Falcons looked really good offensively at times against the Bucs in week 15 as Kirk cousins through for 373 yards and three touchdowns and Kyle Pitts had one of the best games from a tight end this century. Meanwhile, on the other side of this, I think the Cardinals have checked out and I think that Jonathan Gannon will be fired at season end and based on what we’ve seen over the past couple of weeks, the Falcons look like they’re playing with a lot more passion and energy than we’ve seen from the Cardinals in the past month. I trust Atlanta more than I trust Arizona and we are going with the Falcons to win with a score of 26-21

Las Vegas At Houston

Dec 14, 2025; Houston, Texas, USA; Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud (7) scrambles against the Arizona Cardinals in the second quarter at NRG Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Thomas Shea-Imagn Images

The Raiders were shut out 31 to zero last week against the Eagles and they only had 75 yards of total offense. Needless to say I don’t think they’re going to fair much better against the Texans defense in week 16. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration say the 2025 Raiders are one of the worst teams over the past 5 to 10 years and there’s a reason they’re going to fire their fourth head coach in the last five years. The Texans goal for this game is get to 10 points and they’ll probably win. Houston 20, Las Vegas 7

Pittsburgh At Detroit

The Steelers handled business against the Dolphins on Monday night as they won by double digits and their defense looked good throughout the game. But the Lions are a different beast, and I don’t think this defense can hang with the Lions speed – specifically with Jameson Williams. I think there’s a chance the Lions have multiple 70+ yard drives and that Jahmyr Gibbs and Jameson Williams could each have 100+ total yards and a touchdown. The Steelers usually win games by having it be a defensive slugfest and I think the Lions can pounce on them early – and I think they will. Detroit 34, Pittsburgh 20

Jacksonville At Denver

Dec 14, 2025; Denver, Colorado, USA; Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix (10) throws downfield during the second quarter against the Green Bay Packers at Empower Field at Mile High. Mandatory Credit: Ron Chenoy-Imagn Images

Jags Broncos is one of the most interesting games of the 2025 regular season. The Jags have been cooking recently and Trevor Lawrence is coming off the best game of his career as he had 380+ total yards and six total touchdowns. Meanwhile, the Broncos beat the Packers and improved to 12-2 and currently have the best record in the NFL. Going out to Denver and winning is a difficult task for anyone to accomplish and the Jags are not facing the Jets like they did last week. I also thought Bo Nix answered a lot of critics in week 15 as he had over 300 yards and four passing touchdowns. There’s a chance this is an AFC championship game preview, but for now I’m going with the home team and who I believe also has the better defense. This should be a close one. Broncos 27, Jaguars 20.

New England At Baltimore

Patriots defensive end #9 Matthew Judon tries to run down Ravens QB Lamar Jackson in the 1st quarter.

The Patriots blew a 21 point lead to the Bills last week and allowed 28 second-half points. I really worry about the run defense, especially against a team led by Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. The defense is noticeable different when linebacker Robert Spillane is not on the field and given the fact he’s not 100% – and also the fact that the game is being played in Baltimore – leads me to believe the Ravens will come out on top. I still think the Patriots win the AFC east, but I think Baltimore comes out on top on Sunday night. Ravens 28, Patriots 24

San Francisco At Indianapolis

Dec 14, 2025; Seattle, Washington, USA; Indianapolis Colts quarterback Philip Rivers (17) walks to the locker room following the second quarter against the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. Mandatory Credit: Kevin Ng-Imagn Images

SF IND The story of week 15 was a 44-year-old Philip Rivers coming out of retirement for the first time in five years to suit up and play quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts. And if we are being honest, the Colts should’ve won that game if they didn’t play extremely soft defense towards the end. They did not allow a touchdown to the Seattle Seahawks in week 15, but I think the 49ers are going to learn from the Seahawks mistakes. The 49ers are having an underrated year despite all the injuries and Brock Purdy played really well in week 15 too. I think this will be close, but we’re giving the slight edge to the 49ers. San Francisco 24, Indy 20
